Eden Garden Resort ★★★

We picked this hotel because its just 5mins away from where we was taking an overnight train back to Bangkok, so for that was very good and the staff we're good, there even allowed us to leave our luggage behind after we checked out and went on a half day trip, thank you again for your help.

I'm sorry to say this but even though the beds were large they were very hard, like really hard, i even looked to see if it was an actual mattress and not just wood, it good if you have a bad back but for me was way too hard.

We wanted a room to sleep for a couple of hours because our train arrived at 4am and we knew we would struggle to sleep on the train, I chose this accommodation because of its proximity to the train and it met my expectations. For the money, and 24 hour check-in, I was happy to have a place to sleep for a couple of hours.

The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Quite a ways from town. Breakfast was a poor selection, but for the price it was reasonable. No one offered to help take bags to our room.

For the price this place is great value. Nice sized rooms, working TV and big working bathroom. There is also a little desk, water bottle provided and fresh towels daily.

The place was a bit dated and the pool wasn't really clean.

The room and bed were really big. Large windows , so lots of natural lighting. The balcony was nice to have. The room came with a really nice size fridge, T.V. and lots of outlets around the room. Very clean and a huge amount of space. The pool was nice and cool, great for an afternoon swim in the heat of the day. They also have elevators which is nice. Coffee and tea are free and located downstairs in the kitchen area each morning. The staff brought 2 bottles of water to the room each day. The front desk staff was very attentive and ready to help anytime I needed anything. Close to Chaing Mai Train Station (10min walk). I walk everywhere myself, but it is close to a 40 min walk into the city center. Easy enough to go to the main street and flag a Tuk Tuk or Red truck into town (about 10 min drive) . Lots of covered parking for both cars and scooters. There are many places to eat at local vendors and 7-11 only a 10 min walk. Short drive to everything else.

Location is exceptional for those with a car or rideshare. Friendly and helpful staff with excellent English skills, Hot water, Big bed, solid furniture, car parking, laundry, Mini store onsite, interesting Thai Christian posters, daily room cleaning, 1.8L of free water per day. Nearby: friendly pharmacist with cute cat named Mangosteen // 7-11 // Black Single Cafe // Sally's Sandwich Cafe // Qfarm organic produce // Vegan bakery near train station.

Mosquitos hanging around the ground floor. Dengue / Malaria would be one way to remember a visit. Pack your preferred method of insect protection.

This hotel was ideal for late night arrivals at the bus station which is just around the corner. Slightly further out from the centre of Chiang Mai, but if you don't mind walking it's not a major problem. The staff were very helpful and let us check in early after our 11 hour bus journey which was great. The room was also a great size.

The bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress was only a few inches thick.

Just 10 minutes by feet to railway station. Check in was possible at any time.

The room and bathroom were both quite big, and nice and clean.

The bed was so hard, probably the hardest bed we’ve ever slept on and we’ve been travelling around Asia for the past 6 months. We also got woken up each morning, as I think the walls are quite thin so we could hear other guests and housekeeping talking and doors slamming.

Bathtub size & good hot water

Curtains are so thin a lot of light comes through, disrupting sleep. No night stands and odd access to the only outlets- need convenient outlets for phone charging, etc..,

I appreciated the very helpful staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Hospitality was great. Thai people are most humble and kind, and so were the staff. They had an area, kinda big hall, where you can get free coffee and tea.

There is nothing to complain about.

Amazing price for a private room compared to others

-Bed was really hard and uncomfortable, couldn’t sleep very well as a result -bathroom needs a bit of TLC - rust and pool of discoloured water on toilet seat -location wasn’t ideal for getting in and out but that isn’t their fault, something I will look into more before booking
